All orders where possible will be despatched within 1 working day. We deliver from Tuesday to Saturday. We find that most items are delivered within 1 working day. Obviously items that are travelling further afield can take longer. We will do our utmost to dispatch all orders within one day of receipt, subject to credit card authorisation.

Please note that a signature will be required upon delivery and that we only deliver from Tuesday to Saturday.

Should you wish to have your shopping delivered to an alternative address please state this in the address section. We advise you to state your working address as delivery address.

To change your delivery address, click on Above address is also shipping address and fill in the delivery address you want to use. We advise you to state your working address as delivery address.

Payment for goods may be made in Euro using; Visa, Mastercard and iDeal.

All payment for goods will be made in advance.

All orders include VAT and our VAT number is 1646.37.928.B01.

All goods have a voucher attached, that allows customers to try the item and check if everything is as it has been ordered. When the voucher has been removed from the item, it’s no longer possible to return the product.

In the middle of the voucher you can write down an address of a friend or colleague. You can send this voucher free of charge. The recipient will recieve the voucher with a special code which gives the recipient a 10% discount on his first order! When the recipient makes a purchase, an e-mail is directly send to you. In this e-mail you will find a special code which also gives you a 10% discount on your next order.

If you have a voucher code, please enter this in the Voucher Code box at the payment page. Please click on Recalculate total before proceeding to the checkout.

We are happy to accept any item for exchange or refund within 7 days from receipt of goods, provided it has not been worn or washed and the voucher is still connected to the item. The Art Of Camouflage is not responsible for transport costs due to the return of goods.

Goods will be replaced only after the original goods are returned. The Art Of Camouflage will refund the amount paid by you for the goods or, if agreed with you, provide replacement goods.

Do make sure to obtain a receipt from your post office as we cannot be responsible for returned parcels lost in transit.

Returns will normally be processed on the day of receipt and the refund transmitted to your credit card company or bank account the next day.

Where items are returned for exchange, a replacement will normally be despatched the day after the exchange is processed.

If it occurs that your item is out of stock, we will contact you by phone and provide you with a replacement. If you are not satisfied with the replacement, we will be happy to issue a Credit Note.

We advise you to click on the question mark just in front of the word size. Here you will find an overview of the collarsizes we use. Please note that the collarsizes are in cm.

We also advise you to have a view in your wardrobe and look at the collars of you own shirts. Most often you will be able to find your exact size there.

You can request sleeve shortening, which is charged at € 12,50 per garment.

We can shorten shirt sleeves by up to 7 cm (more than this is not recommended as it will affect the shape and fit of the shirt). We undertake to fully dismantle then re-make the sleeve using the same procedures as in the creation of the original shirt this is to ensure the garment satisfies our manufacturing standards.

We can can also make your shirt more slim fit, which is also charged at € 12,50 per garment.

In view of these processes, we suggest that you allow 7 days in addition to normal delivery times.

Please ensure that the (sleeve) measurements are accurate as we cannot accept exchanges on altered items that are not faulty. Therefore we advise you to always contact us at help@theartofcamouflage.com.

Shirt Laundering

Washing

• Always remove the collarbones!
• Wash your shirts at no more than 30 degrees.
• Never tumble dry them.
• ALWAYS keep whites completely separate.
• Keep a regular detergent and a special detergent for colours for your darker shirts.
• Adding fabric conditioner does help make ironing easier.
• Iron when damp if you can, but this is not always possible so make sure you have a mist spray.

Folding

• Button up your shirt and place face down on a flat surface.
• Take a standard glossy magazine, place it at the centre of the yoke with the edges near the shoulder seam.
• Fold the side nearest to you over the magazine.
• Lay the sleeve parallel with the folded edge, then fold the sleeve with 3 or 4 folds, concertina fashion, to fit within the dimensions of the magazine.
• Fold the opposite side and sleeve in a similar manner.
• Make a fold at the shirt tail then bring the fold up to the shoulders, wrapping as tightly as possible round the magazine.
• Turn folded shirt over and remove the magazine and stack shirts top to tail.

Ironing

Preparation

• Lightly dampen all over with a water spray. Ideally leave loosely rolled for at least half an hour (time permitting!).

Collar

• Begin with the underside of the collar.
• Iron from the outside edge to the centre and repeat on the other side. This avoids creases forming at the points.
• While still damp and warm, turn the collar over.
• Holding each collar point between your thumb and forefinger, pull taut to straighten front edges and stretch the outside edge, helping to prevent collar points curling under.
• Repeat the previous ironing process on the topside.
• Finally fold the collar along the neckband seam and iron, creating a definite fold.

Cuffs

• Iron the cuffs before the body of the shirt as they will not crease as easily once ironed.
• Follow the same basic principle as for ironing the collar. Start with the underside, ironing from the outside edge to the centre.
• Repeat this process on the right side.
• Double cuff shirts: fold cuff in half, lining up cufflink holes and press a firm crease along the fold.

Yoke

• It is best to iron one half of the yoke at a time.
• Lay one half of the yoke over the end of the ironing board.
• Spread out the fabric to eliminate creases.
• With the point of the iron work from the sleeve towards the centre join in the yoke.
• Swing the shirt around and repeat for the other half of the yoke.

Sleeves

• Place one sleeve at a time on the ironing board with the gauntlet facing up.
• Spread out the sleeve avoiding any creases (watch out for folds underneath).
• Iron from the underarm seam towards the top edge of the sleeve forming a crease along the top edge.
• Pull out material at the cuff as you carefully push the point of the iron into the pleats and gathers.
• Turn the sleeve over and repeat.

Back

• Lay the back of the shirt body over the ironing board with the collar at the 'toe' end of the board.
• Iron from the tail to the yoke, mist spraying with water if necessary.

Note: Creases easily return when the fabric is warm and damp. When ironing large areas such as backs and fronts, make sure each section is as cool and dry as possible before moving on to the next.

Front

• Iron around the seams first.
• Move shirt front around the board so you have covered every area, ironing between the buttons.
• Repeat on the other side. Run the iron along the button hole front from the tail up to the collar.

Airing

• Fasten the top button and place on a coat hanger to air for at least 30 minutes before folding, if required.
